TICK.

THE BOOTH BUDDY.

TICK is a little alarm clock made of text characters. He lives in the corner of the booth screen and his face tells you how the night's going: chill early, business at 30 minutes, nervous at 10, hands on his cheeks at 5, bells ringing at the end.

Between sets he DJs. When the room's been loud for a while he might dance. After half an hour at 100 dB he asks: EARPLUGS?

Production can hand him a sign from the app - WOO!, EVERYBODY JUMP!, HANDS UP. It springs up on a stick, holds for six seconds, and drops away.

Hold him for three seconds and he yawns, zips off and naps until the next set. New DJs get a NEW HERE? TAP ME sign; tap him and he walks them round the screen.

Never in the last ten minutes. Never over a message. Off with one switch.
